Default I give up on figuring this POS out

I dont know what this means or why or what. I dont even care anymore because none of it EVER makes sense.

As many of you know I had the high idle issue and once I paid to reset the adaptive memory it returned. I figured out my TPS was bad but didnt feel like paying to reset it so I just drove it however. It would idle anywhere from 1000-2500 rpm i mean wherever, just random. So I got the idle down to 700 and pulled the IACV. perfect it stayed.

Well today I decided what the heck and pluged it back in after 2-3 weeks of driving aroound with it unplugged. Its idling at about 900 and the iacv is working. I dont know why, this happened or how long it will last but I just figured Id clue you guys in to something.

I have been documenting most of the stuff dealing with the IACV TPS AND ECU and it never really makes any sense. But current hypothesis unplug IACV and drive it for 2-3 weeks [I put about 2,000 miles on it.] and it may become somewhat normal. Oh well.

Think really hard, you must have done something really horrendous to ANGER THE ROVER GODS.

Did you forget the ceremony of fire, meat, cold beverage and naked girls dancing around the fire to offer praises to gods. I try to do mine as often as possible to keep her running good..................

Well two things, high idle means you have too much air or a stuck iac or throttle connection.

I understand your frustration mine also idles poorly although mine has gotten slightly better, it runs great cold but once you turn it off then back on with it warm it pulses. I've messed with timing and base idle speed and its a little better, I realized recently that a bad vac advance on my distributer is a vac leak so you 94-95 guys keep that in mind
