I just bought an XKR, any of you wankers Jag owners?
Well Just wondering,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Dang it this XKR is fast and fun to drive...........too bad this motor isnt in my Disco
It could be with a little effort.
Or just swap the Disco body onto the Jag chassis.
I keep seeing the same Gold Jag XJ hardtop V12 sitting in this guys yard. I used to really want an XJS but the mechanic I bought my 928 from told me that even if I was given an XJS that I could not afford to maintain one of those V12's.
Another Rover friend of mie specializes in both Rovers and Jags. He blames the V12 for Jag's decline from their heyday.
Yours has a supercharged V8 doesn't it?
Wonder what block that was developed from? and who makes them?

Savannah,
Please have that one delivered to me at my home address in Pittsburgh, I wait for delivery each day until four!
Come to think of it, I could probably go and buy that gold one and put it on my Disco's chassis instead of fixing the rust I have now.

I do like the original E type much better actually.
Also one older fellow who operates one of those places that buys collectible items like WWII memorabilia, told me he has two of the late 50's Jag Sedans in a building he owns.
A friend of mine whose dad was a VP at Lockheed had one of the big Jag limo types that was a gorgeous two tone Burgundy and Black formal looking sedan or Salon? Saloon?

Yeah, a lot of people replace the blown v12's with a 350. The Jag rear end is a bad ***. I know one fellow who has one of those MB1929 Replicas with a Buick Grand National turbo 6 and a jag rear end in a fiberglass 4 seater that only weighs about 1200 pounds.
That Range Rover Sport has a SuperCharger. Greg Norman drives one.
