Default I'm going to order it.

I'm going to order the Rovers North fuel pump for my truck.

http://www.roversnorth.com/store/p-3...discovery.aspx

it says it REQUIRES: a new harness, is this the case? or is it merely "suggested"?

I guess what i'm asking, is will that pump plug into my harness or is the harness they sell an adapter harness?

Looks like there are 2 different pumps for you truck depending on your VIN#.

Look at yours and see.
Mine was a plug N play.

Why are you ordering a new assembly for $250, as opposed to just replacing the pump for <$70?

Spike, all 95's are non-AEL

I have the Pro Line frm RN in my 97 non-ael. It was 105 bucks, plug and play, works just fine. I highly recommend it.

I was told I'd have to use the $50 or so harness with it, as it's an upgraded pump.

My AC Delco pump is coming in tomorrow, I'll let everyone know how it goes after it's installed.

Be sure you use fuel injection clamps on the internal hose connections, and be careful that they don't contact any of the electrical connections.
