Default Inclines?

I haven't come across a post that deals with inclines. does anyone know what the degree of a side incline is safe before a roll over? I realize it depends on the individual rig but mine (1995 disco, 2" lift with 265/75r16) seems to be a common setup.

for those of you with inclinometers, whats the most degree you have gotten with a side tilt?

My a** is usually too puckered to remember to look at my inclinometer.

Like you have said, it will depend on the air pressure in your tires, how strong your lift is and all that crap, but I wouldn't go much over 30 degrees, when in doubt. Do you have an angle meter?

The angle meter is on my list.

One thing I have found with my truck, which is well built, if I have to worry about how steep and angle I am on, I sure as hell won't take my eye off the trail.
I can, on a really good day, with the right air pressure get close to the high 38 degree, but at that point, I am so puckered up, I need to get leveled out and walk around the truck a couple times to relieve the pucker factor.

I had my inclinometer pegged at 45* once. I slid down off the trail and came to rest with a small tree against my downhill slider. I had to have my budding do all the winch rigging because I was too nervous to take my foot off the brake pedal. It probably only took him two minutes to rig it all, but it felt like twenty. Especially since my truck was getting hot due to I'm guess lack of oil flow due to the incline.

I've been given the advice that if you've reached 35*, it's time to rethink what you're doing (back up, change your line, etc.).
