Instrument illumination, light switch fault?

There were not too many other options other than eBay, and the cheapest stalk would have been $25 + $25 for shipping. I did talk him down from his initial price of $80!
I look at it this way
Stalk $50
Glove light housing $10
Mats $5
Total = $65 / 3 items = $21 per item, which is still not bad
