Guessing hi temp for what its intended use is

Link to summit only had pipe thread adapters not the 3/4-16 or did I read wrong?

My issue is I made an adapter for current temp switch no problem, I need to use a lower temp switch and it is fatter on the base , will not work in my adapter cause I cannot drill it centered good enough

" Link to summit only had pipe thread adapters not the 3/4-16 or did I read wrong?" .... you are right the adapters only go to 1/2" in that link. When I read your post re: the 1/2" thread I thought you needed 1/8-27 to 1/2".

I'm going to the hydraulic line/fitting shop today, what is the exact size(both ends) do you need. I'll take a look
Just a heads-up the D1 thermostat housing ETC6135, where the fan switch(PRC3505) mounts is metric thread. IIRC M22X1.5

Go to home depot with both ends in your hand.

Buy pipe adapters.

Put together with blue or red loctitie.

Done.

No joy at the line shop. The 3/4x16 was a no go, they had 3/4x14 tpi like these at mcmastercarr >McMaster-Carr
detail view > McMaster-Carr

3/8npt to 3/4npt there are tons like > http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ea...8erl/overview/

Mcmaster lists British pipe thread I wonder if that's the 3/4-16 you measured

The intake is 3/4-16NF, it is not pipe thread.

Tom, what's wrong with the picture MM3846 posted? Look's like a simple and easy way to get the job done.
The sensor reading may "lag" slightly by not being directly in the flow, but it should work just fine like that.

I have yet to find a reliable small switch like in the pic, that's why I use the Chevy type, I have the standard Chevy one adapted but the lower temp has a larger probe and won't work i n my home made adapter
