Default issues installing RTE Rear Bumper

I purchased an RTE rear bumper from Lucky 8 this last December and received it a couple weeks ago. I just got time to install it today and found it hits the corners on each quarter. I cut the fenders properly and have clearance there but the fit quality seems poor. I installed their sliders with no problem, but this bumper is an issue. Has anyone else had a problem like this? I may end up grinding the bumper to fit but after $900 including shipping I am not to pleased.

Realize that L8 is just a retailer for RTE. Maybe post a pic of what the problem is here.
Nearly ALL of my aftermarket "bolt on" parts have required a certain amount of "massaging" with a hammer to fit properly. Most times this is due to variations in the Rover rather than poor QC at the parts place.

My RTE front bumper when on my 96 looked like it was off as one side was real close to the fender and the other wasn't. I assumed the bumper was off but it wasn't that off so I never did anything about it.

I put it on my 98 and it's exactly even on both sides.

The problem was the Rover not the bumper.

My RTE rear came off a 98 with no issues and took LOTS of massaging with hammers and ratchet straps to fit. Guessing the several things I've run into didn't help
