Better yet, :WHY" would you replace the shafts when at worst case they just need 4 new $14 u-joints and some grease?

I think he's talking about the non-rotoflex rear drive shaft.

"OH"!, thats different but I always wonder why people, especialy ones with stock trucks switch away from a roto-flex, they are quite strong, last a long time and don't have the major failures a u-joint will have.

I got the complete rear drive shaft upgrade from Lucky 8, for $200 I thought it was a sound replacement. And the roto-flex crapped out on me after 6 months since we changed it last time. We took it to the LR dealership to do it also. I figure I could pay twice as much for greasable u-joints then have to replace it every 6-12months.

U-Joints last forever as long as they are greased at EVERY oil change and after every deep wading session.
My originals lasted 180k.

Very nice, well I'm just waiting for them to ship. Hopefully I can get them before Thursday because that's when I start school. Senior Year Class or 2012: the last year before we die anyways! Represent!
