I looked at it again and I'm almost tempted to get it for my office.

I could have gotten a short block for $150 from a DII, I was going to make a coffee table out of it, but I could not justify spending the money.
03Discoman might still have it if anyone is interested.

If anyone's interested, I have a DII complete engine in my garage. For the past three years, I have been meaning to disassemble it to the block (which has two holes: one at the back where the camshaft was ejected through the back of the block, and the other right in the center where a connecting rod ran through the center of the block, splitting the camshaft) and then try to make some money from everything else.

I'm glad i procrastinated, because I needed the power steering pump this year, and I'm still not sure what pieces I will want to retain (manifolds, throttle body, heads, pulleys, etc)

Yeah, I know, I need to put it in the classifieds section, but my procrastination is kicking in again

I'm actually doing something similar in the near future. I have a 95 BMW 530i (3.0 V8) that I am swapping to a 98 740i (4.4L V8) and the old motor is going to be a coffee table.
