land rover disco 1 center console removal

Pretty simple really. Btw the search function is your friend here, lots of posts about this.
Empty the bin, there are some screws in the bottom, remove them.
Carefully pop the trim off around the shifter. Unscrew the transfer shifter **** and remove **** and boot. Lift up from the back and reach in and unplug the lighter connectors and remove console. Use common sense doing this in case I left anything out, but that's pretty much it.

Two screws in the cubby, two screws in front of the transfer case shifter and you'll have to release the e-brake cable so you can move the e-brake handle straight up or you'll break even more of the center console trying to remove it. Pop off the window switch plate, it's only held in by four plastic pins. Unscrew the subplate with the switches, there are four philips head screws. With the subplate out you'll easily access the e-brake cable at the handle for removal.

For the transfer case shifter, unscrew the **** and use a small pry bar (6" incher) to pop the gator and plastic retainer out of the cutout in the console.
If you're asking about the automatic transmission shifter, remove the wood trim from the top of the shifter, pop the circlip off, remove the plastic spacer, pull out the detent and spring, undo the 19mm nut and pull the shifter up.
