Post Loaded SE7 with low miles on Craigslist!

1997 Land Rover Super Low Mileage

Just found this ad on Craigslist and I thought it might be worth sharing with the forum. 1997 SE7 with only 97k, looks to have many options, brush guard, extra fog lights, CD etc. just needs a muffler and pads supposedly but for $1399 that's not bad at all!

Somethings wrong here... if it's legit it's a great score.

That needs a pre purchase inspection... Something doesn't look right about that!

He probably got the quote for brakes, and decided to just dump the car. D1's don't always go for very much. I bought my 96 for $1200 and sold it for the same.

I got my 98 after the PO got a quote for a power steering line and a brake job. Paid 1200, it has 3 times the miles that one had... I got ripped off! ha ha

Sorry to hear that you got ripped off man, there's always someone out there trying to sell there D1 for well over its relevant value. There's a handful of older for sale Rovers around here for fairly cheap. Not many people around here know much about them so they somehow get stuck with one then shortly thereafter sell them for cheap - sometimes below their value!

Had I not been so hell bent on a late D2 then I would have purchased this Disco! Speaking of which is anyone interested in a parts D1 for around $100? There's a 97 (I belieave) sitting at a European Mechanic garage, owner left it there a year ago and it needs a lot of work. Manager told me that if I were interested he would have to go through a "procedure" but that he would probably let it go for $100! I was very tempted by this offer. Here's afew pics below.

And yes that is a legit old school Mini in the background! Never seen an original Mini Cooper before and dam it's small as hell!

More like Dwarfed by the Disco! Bahahaha

Oh and the back seats of the Disco were removed, there was some junk back there so. The brush guard seems to be in pretty good shape, as do the rims. Wouldn't trust the rubber cause they have been sitting there deflated for a year.
