Just to let all know who are interested, OKoffroad does have the closed ended wheel nuts for discos 1 and 2. They come in chrome only, and very reasonable. It is $2 a nut. Great price. Hope it helps with rusting.

Huh, how about that. Could be an interesting look with chrome acorn nuts on black wheels.

Thanks XDdisco...ordered some lugs from them today. I tried everywhere else and could not find anyone who had them. Now to figure out how to get the old ones off.

I was curious if anybody came across any wheel locks in the same size 16x1.5p. I have been looking, but have not found any.

I'm sure there are other sources, but this is the first one that came up on a Google search

That link takes me to wheel locks for a 1998 honda CRV... I'm pretty sure those won't fit my D1. Thank you for looking out though!

It says in ( ) that they are for steel wheels? These are what I want but need them for alloys, any one know where? I've looked through so many web sites I think I'm going blind

Damn but that OKoffroad website sucks. Was going to take a look at the lug nuts but said screw it.
I'd rather have open ended nuts so they don't collect moisture in them. But really the biggest thing is to use Never-Seez on the studs.

Its not a bad web site its just very basic... What size socket do you guys use on your lug nuts? I am going to run wheel adapters so I can use the wheels that I want but with these being so damn big at 16mm that means the nut will be larger also. I'll need a 16mm nut that has a thinner wall for the adapters I'm thinking.

Have any of you guys came across that?
