Wow, that's a total jackass move. Esp considering the pump is $20-25 shipped on eBay and the housing is big money anywhere you look. It's like cutting off new mud tires to get to the steel spare rims, LOL.

well I got the springs installed and 3 shocks since i lost a bushing for the top of one of the rear bilsteins, any idea where i can get one?

here is what i found, my rover had all original springs and shocks marked land rover all shot

the front springs i installed today are shorter then what I took off my rover but thicker and it does sit inches higher even with 100 lbs of winch wtf??

the rear springs i got are longer then what i took off my rover but it sits about the same so i guess i did not score a lift just nice aftermarket springs and shocks

i just do not understand how the one I removed it from sat so high since it was only missing the gas tank, same tire size as mine, same rear air model and yes i marked the springs with tape and a marker before removing them in the jy

rear shocks were the same length, front bilstiens are about 1" longer then my stock ones

went down a bumpy dirt road and through some mudd to test out the springs and it rides realy nice and very smoooth even with the heavy winch

Would you like a pic of the holes left when a tree rips them off?

Can't you reuse one of the bushings from your old shocks?
Rovah Farm has them for $0.75.

stock shocks are a different bushing type that uses a steel inner sleeve, we tried to press it out with no luck

the bilstiens use the type that are 2 piece and can be replaced with urothane

thanks for the pic, guess I just line them up best i can and run self tap screws in, my rover came with 1 guard and it clips under the tail light, the other was missing and the lens was all f'ed up from it getting ripped off

LOL...Yeah...one option I'm glad I never added to my truck. I manage to smash fewer tail lights off-road without the light guards than I would with them tearing up the lights too...

You lost the rear upper shock bushing? How'd you do that, LOL!?
This one? http://search.cartserver.com/search/...5593+&go=GO%21
Torch the rubber out and let the steel sleeve drop out. Lube the new bushing and press it in with a large vise or shop press.
