Default Mass air flow sensor

Hey,
I just scanned my 97 land rover discovery 1. It said there were two codes that were both P0101 and P0102. Which I know are mass air flow related. What would be the best buy for a new mass air flow sensor. I've thought about getting either the API one off Amazon or the walker products one. Are they any good?

Thank you,
Adam Harrelson

The made in china MAF's for a D1 are awful, find a used LUCAS or SAGEM OEM unit.

I'd spring for a can of MAF cleaner first.

What kind of air filter are you running?

Can the MAF sensor be ordered alone or do you have to buy the whole unit/assembly?

I tried the Walker Products MAF from Rock Auto and it was terrible right out of the box. My adaptive values were super high (even higher than my failing MAF) after I installed it. It was marked "not returnable if opened", but I sent them the before and after readings and they provided a refund.

I cleaned my old Lucas version version 3 times with CRC MAF cleaner, but it didn't help. I ended up finding a used SAGEM at a local LR specialty shop and it has been working great for over a year now.
