Default Cabin air temp sensor clicking

I have an air temp sensor which has been clicking lately. I have been doing quite a bit of dusty offroading. am thinking of simplying blowing compressed air into the vendor to clear the dust. Just wondering.... does anyone know why is it clicking?

Mine does the same (although very quietly), there is an actual fan inside to move the air over the sensor and as it goes bad or dust gets jammed in there it can make noise. As you have said blow some compressed air through there and see if that helps.
