Default Met with Texas Rovers DFW tonight!

I cant say enough about the members. We are going to join the club.

After the meeting everybody came outside to give Ruby a listen.

Then they started several of there cars................LOL mine sounds just like all the rest!

the one car with 180K miles was the quietest.

Not one of the airline bottles! The local club here always gets the really dark beers, they really embarrassed one new member that brought Bud Lite.

Default How to join the Texas Rovers DFW

Hi all!
I just recently moved to Plano, Tx. area. I would like to meet other Rover owners in the area. I am not mechanically inclined but I am willing to learn from the group. I would also like to know reputable shops to get work done. I just had a very bad experience with a local shop here in Plano where I took my truck for coolant leak. I was quoted $634 for water pump change and after work was done, I still have a leak. I took it back and they're telling me to pay additional $500+ for timming cover gasket that failed supposedly a day after I got the car back.

To be able to afford to keep a Land Rover, you need to do as much of that kind of stuff that you can possibly do. If you have to take it to a shop for the littler things, you are at their mercy.
