hey everyone there is a 97 disco for sale locally to me that ran when parked a year ago and is missing some interior pieces, is there anything specific i should ask about or look for if i go to look at at? anything that normally goes wrong with them etc?

test every single electrical item on the truck
test for exhaust gas in the coolant
bring a crow bar to test for looseness in suspension/steering/radius & trailing arms/body mounts
check under carpets for rust
check frame for rust

If it doesn't currently run don't pay more than $700

 

sorry for taking so long to update, so i ended up not getting it, the seller was asking $850 for it and wouldnt budge and it was also missing a bunch of interior trim and switches and had been sitting for a year and used as a parts car so i dont know what else might have been missing that the seller didnt mention, so i skipped it and will keep an eye out for another or whatever else i can find
