Honestly Advance Evaporative Loss is only on the later half of 97 1/2 through 99 1/2. Those fuel pumps are the only ones with the tank pressure sensor. There is a purge routine in those ECM's to send the excess tank pressure to the charcoal canister. Prior to that it was sent to atmosphere at the purge valve or through the fuel cap.

DiscoJag Jim......your safe. You might want to check the vent line for your fuel filler neck......they collapse when age weathered.

Yeah, thanks scouts. You are right on about the vent line too. Mine is currently wrapped with duct tape. If there was a thanks button, I would hit it.

Cool

small update.....
since my Ultra Gauge is apparrently lost in transit somewhere......I asked a buddy in the repair business if by chance he had a scanner to work with the Rovers , yes, he came over today, and for those of you fearing winter, you may get some relief since the Great Polar Kotex has settled in under my hood.......it was 28 degrees here today....but -34 degrees under my hood...according to my ecu via the air temp sensor !!....we'll be checking the wiring to the ecu since he feels the sensor may be ok....and the beat goes on..
