Default mystery device on right (passenger) side

Found a mystery device laying on the frame by the exhaust header. Headlight washer pump?

The front and rear windscreen washers spray, but I don't know if the headlight washers do. I assume from the owner's manual the lights have to be on and set to low beams for it to spray. The hose on this device runs into the front bumper.

Thanks, Tom, I'd guessed that but need to move the Disco to a place easier to crawl under to follow the hose. Guess I'll pull the pump and put it in the box with the rest of the broken bits that I've kept for reference. No rush to replace the broken headlight washer nozzle now either....if ever.

I pulled the headlight washer pump while I was installing new plug wires today, and in the process broke the bib off inside the hose. No great loss, though, as the motor was all rusty and very likely toast anyhow. One more part that will no longer lay against the exhaust or fall off going down the road. In a way that's progress.
