What the correct name of the bar to the rear of the front tires used to adjust the alignment? Having a total brain fart moment. Anyways mine is seized and I can not get it to turn to adjust, alignment shop worked on it for a good 30 minutes with a torch even.

On the 96 D1.

 

Track rod. If you have to replace it either get a good used one from Paul Grant or Marty Powell, or buy a new HD from Justin at Lucky 8.

 

I always confuse them too. Drag link is in front of the axle and Track rod sits behind the rear of the axle.

 

Track Rod... that is what I was looking for lol... Sometimes I swear....

I have a track rod with old tie rod ends for $30 plus shipping. I also have brand new Lemforder left and right tie rod ends. They are $50/pr plus shipping. if I can be of help let me know.

Great! Let me check the current Tie rods. I believe I replaced them already... but forget.

 

Bent my track bar off road and replaced mine with the defender track bar doing away with the steering stabilizer. Good option less then 100$ spanning new hardware to go with it.
