Default need help finding a part

OK, so I'm trying to redo my wheel bearings, I got the wheel bearings but I want to repace the seals too, the thing is when I go to the auto part store they have no idea what im talking about! I looked it up on the rave's manual called it grease seal. Is there a part number or does one knows where i can find two of them?

PM, AntiChrist , on the forum, he will give you the correct part number for the seals, I believe he recommends one from a defender because it is more heavy duty.

Yup RTC3511
No need to PM about it, I prefer to keep it public so anyone can find the PN.
Search that PN here and you'll find some photos on correct installation. It's not intuitive.

BTW, it's not a heavy duty seal, it's just a double lip so seals better. Also, you won't find it at a parts store, it's a Rover part only.

The part numbers are in the DI tech section.
Trevor at Rovahfarm.com has the best price on the seals, buy a complete set of seals for all 4 wheels.
Mine were $25 shipped.

Apparently not. FTC4785 is the crappy OE Discovery hub seal.
RTC3511 is the one to use. They are from a Defender.
The dealer was uninformed, they didn't change, the RTC3511 was never used on Discoveries.

Sweet, I ordered some RTC3511. Looks like I’m back to work
I also talked to a different guy at the dealer today and he found the RTC 3511 but they don’t stock them and i would have to but five at a time. I guess that what the internet is for.
