Default need some help with buddies 95D1

my buddy who is less then mechanical took on changing his plug wires yesterday without my help. he forgot to mark the leads from cylinders to the cap sp he wired it up incorrectly.

i know firing order,,,but when looking at his dist. cap what is the #1 plug lead? drawing or diagram will help.

clockwise rotation i presume???

Page 67 of the RAVE has both the 3.9 V8 and 4.0 V8 wiring diagrams. If you don't have the RAVE download from my sig. Good luck.

Remove the distributor cap and rotate the engine by hand until the timming mark is at TDC and the rotor is pointing towards the front of the engine. Sort of to the left, if I recall correctly. That will be plug 1.
