It may be tight from lack of use. I still have to push mine pretty hard from 4h to locked

I believe the car makes a buzzing noise if not fully in gear. It did it once for me.

I can get it locked easy, but I have to open my front door and lean into it pretty hard to get it unlocked.

If the light isn’t going off, drive around a little bit on a dirt road. Maybe some movement will help. You’re doing it right by being in neutral. Maybe try park? Just throwing out ideas.

Don’t force it. It shouldn’t be forced. It may need some encouragement but forcing it with excess will damage something. Sometimes a forward motion between 0-5mph helps

Can I lubricate the assembly somehow? I tried spraying some lubricant down there a year ago and didn’t see a difference.

There may be a linkage issue if you are unable to just move it to the left (diff lock high range). Mine have always moved to the left the easiest.

One spring is included for each door, and one for the hatch.

For the rear, since it’s only the outside, it may just need to just be adjusted. There is a great video on YouTube on how to adjust the handle pull.

I was having the same issue, well sort of. At first couldnt open form the outside, took the door panel off, there is a twisting rod, giving it a bit more tension made the outside work. I was happy put it all together, closed the door, then the inside handle wouldn't work nor the outside.... After working to get the door panel off while the door being close, lol. I was able to readjust the rod and now am able to open both form inside and outside. It should take 30min, just dont forget to leave your door panel off as you open and close your door to test functionally.

here is the video

So I did the test where you jack up the front wheel, put the gear selector in neutral, e brake on. The wheel didn't spin freely. So my diff lock is on... The diff lock selector isn't letting me move to unlock it. Is there a manual way I can turn it off without using the shifter?
