Default New driver???

My wife has recently grabbed my Disco1 as her Mountaineer had seen better days, she called me at work yesterday to ask why when she used the turn signals, the 4 way flasher came on .... she thought the turn signal indicator meant both turn signal lights were on since it shows an arrow in both directions.

She also wanted to know why there was no heat... I told her to turn off the 'snowflake' and turn up BOTH heater temp *****. She said "there are 2 of them??? "

Might be time for some Disco Lessons....

Know the story. My wife drove my D1 once, said it was too complicated to drive & now will only drive her jeep.

I am going to have a hell of a time explaining all the buttons in the lr3 and what to not touch lol

The d1 was weird at first, lots of buttons with pictures but no real explanation what the hell they were, I mean rear fog lights? Volume and channel controls on the dash? Hell when I first saw those I thought they were like hill decent and traction control buttons and I been working on u.s. cars my whole life

Yeah they are buttons by the gauges with a triangle on them and + or
Then the select button changes channels

Mines the loaded version so guess it has extras

No joke. I had to search to see what the hell the cruise control button was. I mean...what the hell is that pic?? A road with a bridge?? Would it have been terrible to just write cruise on it?? Or in most cases just delete it all together... It will never work. Haha

I told her to stay away from the CDL and leave the buttons alone unless she knew what they were for. I have an aftermarket radio so the radio controls on the dash don't do anything, I don't think she needs to know about the cruise or the rear fogs. (cruise isn't working yet but it is on the list)

She loves the height and the way it goes down the road. Doesn't seem to miss the 5.0L motor she had vs the 4.0L she has now.

If Momma's happy, everyone is happy....
