Well, yes and no. (apologies for "defending" the blowhard )

Kit you posted is complete redo, with foam, for the front seats.

OP was giving a price for front and back, but I assume without foam.

Again, I dont give a F about OP, but prices in your link arent too far off of what she offered.

5 seat redo, 557.91 in heavy duty vinyl. (which I'm assuming is something like mb tex. Most would think it was leather) $481 in cloth. OP said 900 to 1200. So, this kit is still half...

They also will do special requests... "If you have a special request we are more than happy to oblige, please enquire Tel. 0044 (0) 1984 635060 "

Still, I could get them done local, cheaper in leather.

Also, Most rear seats are normally in pretty good shape. I would think the bulk of needed repair is the fronts only.

I bet Slang could get some real exotic covers handmade real cheap comparatively or some others in Central or South American regions.

I have seen some really exotic handmade leather golf bags from Mexico with renderings of Aztec Cheifs and such as well as some exotic skins from gators and similar critters.

That Elephant Hide Vinyl like an older 109 or 110 had would be great for long wear.

PS I hope at least twenty or thirty of you decide to back me with an initial investment of two or three grand so I can develop some really cool stuff too.

LOL, I'd be happy for 20-30 of you to give me just 200 bucks.... I promise to something cool in the end.

I would be happy if a few of you gave me twenty bucks each for that matter. But that would hardly fund a start up like her and her husband were assking for!

we got iguanas. is that exotic? big rats too. four times the size of nyc rats. other than that i think cowhide is the cheapest thing going. id do that MB stuff probably but I'm going cheap and strong black vinyl/websuit.

thanks to the OP for allowing us to pontificate a bit.

Guess she had no interest in a cheap wet suit type of seat cover, hardly worth her time apparently. I thought it was a terrific idea personally.

Could probably get them from Hong Kong or Nam.
