Thanks Snowdog. Now, throw this into the mix. It has a salvage/rebuilt title from being stolen and wrecked. There was very little body damage but the front suspension/transfer case/small parts, brackets and such were replaced. Don't know who did the work but it was a great job. Drives straight, shifts great, no funny noises in the body or drivetrain going down the road. Everything works.

The 3 Amigos don't bother me. It seems from the posts that if one of those lights come on usually they all come on like it's a gang thing. Most of the posts call for an easy and cheap fix as long as you can find the culprit responsible.

So, now my concern is if I buy it and try to sell it how much hassle is it going to be. Or do I have this for eternity simply because of the title.

I do have one question that I can't find a post on. Has anybody devised a way to either add hubs to lock out the front drive axle or anything to improve mileage. These are hard on the wallet in fuel costs!

Personally, I wouldn't touch an '03 or probably even an '04. The Bosch 4.6 engine in these trucks is known for slipped liners leading to overheating issues. Do a search in the D2 section of this forum for slipped liners and search over on Dweb. Both this site and Dweb are great resources. This one tends to be a bit gentler with questions that could have been answered with a quick search than Dweb is.
