Default no spark

I have looked through all the "no spark" threads and haven't found my problem.

1995 Disco, 3.9. 187,000 miles. New head gaskets and milled heads.

I started having a problem where every once in a while it would just crank and crank but no start. no sputtering like it wants to start....just cranking. and then after trying to crank for about 5 minutes it would start. then I wouldn't see this problem for a few days. I finally did some tests when It wouldn't start. it is getting good fuel at the rail but, no spark. then after I keep trying, it miraculously gets spark and starts up and runs fine. The problem got more and more frequent. at this point, it will not start at all.

Any ideas?

side note....the coil was tested and is good. But there is no spark out of the coil to the distributor.

Have you tried new wires? Sounds like the coil wire may be bad

Repair update:

Thank you Spike. I replaced the ignition module and she started right up.
