Not so good vibrations

I've been feeling a slight higher frequency vibration in the 96 Disco lately. It's subtle, but it's there... I sometimes feel it through the steering wheel, but I can feel it very good by resting my hand on the CDL ****.
I'm figuring the front prop shaft, I have not idea if it has ever been rebuilt. Could be an output shaft?
I don't have any serious gear lash or clunking. There has always been a clunk from forward to reverse (but never from reverse to forward). The clunk hasn't changed. Also a small "clunk" that I can feel with my hand resting on the CDL **** when I let on and off the throttle.
Time for a prop shaft rebuild? Or might I have something else going on?

You might try greasing the propshaft first..
But a dry U-doesn't last long.. And vibration is the first sign of failure..
Block the wheels.. Put the CDL and in neutral and crawl under and shake things around..
If you have someone you trust.. You can block the wheels and shift the transmission in and out of gear and watch the driveline move around as well.. But that requires someone smart enough to not run you over...I'm fairly certain a LR in low range could roll right over a body at idle...![EEK!](https://landroverforums.com/forum/images/smilies/bmHv6Xb.png)
Hit the grease zerks and grease that puppy up and see if it gets better..
If you have a bad U-joint it's usually pretty obvious. Look for failed seals..

OK, I gave all the zerks a shot of grease... One thing I did notice is that when I hit the zerks on the universal joints, the grease started spitting out right away. I wiggled the shaft as much as I could and it was solid. It rotated a few degrees, but that is gear lash from the transfer case.
The one is the back is looking pretty bad from a close up inspection...
It looks like my diff's are leaking from the output shafts a bit and flinging oil all around. I suppose I should replace the seals at the same time as doing the drive shaft... Is there in inner seal? Will I have to pull the diff? Should I change the bearing while I'm in there?
