What about the two wire temp sensor. If it is off, doesn't that contribute to runniung rich as well? ECU providing extra fuel to a cold engine to warm it up. I remember Spike saying he had that problem in the past.

Where is the two wire temp sensor located? My instrument panel low fuel light just came on. My trip meter says 163 miles. That is horrible for a tank of fuel. My O2's are fixxed now so something else must be causing this.

So now I'm still wondering about that fuel regulator I dropped in from my 97D1. I wonder if it was different than the one that I took off my 99D1 somehow. Any thoughts on this. Either that or the ECT.

Contacted Spike about this and sounds like it could actually be the temp sensor. I pulled it out and checked the resistance and compared it with my spare. The one that was in the engine gave me 1.93 OHM's and my spare was 1.65 OHM's. Higher resistance means it is probably faulty. I swapped them out and will run another tank of fuel through it and see.

Just changed my front 02 sensors code p0138 came on. Guess I missed the note about changing all 4. AB has them for the same price as BPU. I'm ordering the other 2 now. I LOVE MY ROVERs and just like a woman they love my wallet.... ;(

Has anyone tested thier O2 sensor signal voltage? Still currious to see what values are out there in conjunction with the way your engine runs.

If you can wait until Mon I guess I can hook up my scanner and take some numbers for you as I drive to work.

That would be great. I know my CATS are burnt out from running rich. I would like to see how my numbers compare to a machine that actually runs better. Then maybe I can tweak something.

Ok, here you go.
First start this morning O2 readings were "--"v's.
After about 30 secs they became responsive and the numbers went from the .9somethings (always a 3 digit number on my scanner)down to the .0somethings and back and forth they went all the way to work.
They changed numbers as fast as my scanner could keep up.
Same thing coming home.
Rear O2's, left rear read 1.020v's, never changed and the right rear moved like the fronts but not as fast and not as big of swings either.
Rear O2's do nothing, no check engine light, so I'm not worried.
My front O2's have about 2,000 miles on them, I only use premium fuel and my truck is well tuned.
Hope this helps.

Thank you so much Spike. This is definitly my problem area. With your numbers tells my all four O2's are way out of range. Sure hope it isn't my ECU as well. I'll be purchasing 4 new O2's then. I'll let you know the outcome. Thanks again.
