Sadly, I have that guard on my truck but it seems to be rusting from the inside out. I'd like to replace it but can't seem to locate it.

Same, mine is rusting from the inside out as well. I have no earthly idea why they chose to cap off the tubes on the bottom. My PO plasti-dipped the whole thing, which seems to have at least masked the problem. I had no idea these things were so hard to get a hold of... At some point I should probably strip it, grind off the rust, bondo and repaint.

The matal these were made from was thin, and the rust takes it's toll. I wish someone would make a copy of the original and sell them.

That's exactly what my buddy and I are doing now. Mine has the infamous rot, so we're making one out of pretty thick tubing, along with a lower profile front bumper. Trying to get it to be burly and OE looking. I'll make a thread with progress eventually.

I did just pull an STC8457 off my 98 that I have no use for... Not quite as protective for the lights, but would certainly help a radiator!

I have one available ...

Can you post up a picture or the actual item and it’s condition? Thanks

I guess this thread has helped me figure out what I have.. This bar came on my D2, I just thought someone had cut off the headlight wings / bars and just kept the center section. Buuuut.. Looks like it was a factory bit? I have since taken off the lights and plating..

The A-Frame brush bar for a D2 '99 - '02 is part number: STC50024 and I think they are now NLA.
The stainless steel version was #: STC50025
