Default OME lift kit front rake

Hey guys, still fiddling with figuring out this poor truck the previous owner did bad things to.

anyways, it was advertised as coming with a 2" OME lift kit.

I see both axles have spacer blocks under the coils.

the rear end looks tall, but the front end is seemingly still at stock height, making it look really raked with the butt up.

I don't know how to tell if this still has stock springs or if it has some aftermarket springs on it.

I feel like i've read that the front vs rear springs on these trucks can get mixed up.

is there a chance that the front vs rear springs are mixed up on this truck?

What is the spacer block material made of? Looks like a bushing.

not sure what you are seeing as a bushing, spacer blocks appear to be box tube with anti crush sleeves welded in

Those are another version of the poor mans lift kit, just a piece of Rectangular Tube Steel.
Cut it drill some mounting holes, paint and done.

You can get that stuff cheap and in any size at any metal supply shop or places like > https://www.onlinemetals.com/

And if you want to get real fancy you could make these spring spacers out of Aluminum Round Bar for about $20.00

And like the Rectangular Tube Steel, Onlinemetals.com will cut that stuff in any thickness you want cheap.

You can fart around on their website to get a full quote for any material and cut costs.

Just in case you ever plan on making theses simple spring spacers and you need some motivation.....
Look at what these turds (and there are other designs) cost retail
