Single platinum or the copper.

Personally though I think I would go with these.

NGK is probably the best plug out there. Champion is okay but not as high quality as NGK.

Personally I use whatever I can get cheap locally. Usually it's Autolite, but sometimes Champion or NGK. Can't tell a bit of difference.

Make/size of wires is irrelevant.

I have used the plain copper NGK TR6 on a ford lightning engine and they held up for 70k miles. The TR6 is a colder plug and is specifically for high performance supercharged application.s The gap was a little big and do not recommend running them that long but they will hold up. I put the platinum NGK in my 98 D1 and it runs great with the new wires. Platinum is not good for high performance/supercharged applications but is fine for stock. Make sure you get the stock heat range if your engine is not highly modified.

Seems like Ngk is pretty popular. Anyone else using them in their d1? I thought most people were using champion
