Default Ordered TreadWright 265/75/16 Guard Dogs

Just wanted to create this thread so that once I get them on I will give a full review on it. Hopefully with some pics.

I went with Load E 265/75/16 with Goodyear MTR carcass...there is a bout 3 week backorder on them right now.

cool. I have been looking at the same tire for a while now. If I ever get my 96 running it's the tire I want to put on.

I'm thinking about lifting my 97 a little and throwing tires on. What is the life expectancy on the guard dog?

I think you'll like them. I've got their Warden 285/75-16 on BFG cases on my pickup and they've held up at least as well as most tires I've had. I've put 5000 miles on them and they hardly show any wear. And that's a lifted Ford with a twin I-beam front end, which tends to chew up tires even when aligned properly...

I think your right plus its eco friendly and its about half off of name brand tires.

I went with goodyear mtr carcassas cause one those tires only last about 20-30k from goodyear so the carcass will be low mileage. Two the mtr's have kevlar in them for extra protection on the rocks. I have to wait a few weeks but its well worth it.

Fyi treadwright customer service is awesome
