P1317?

P1317?
Along with P1314 and sometimes P1313, I've been getting a "pending" P1317 code and sometimes a set P1317 code. Here's what I have read about this code:
From gems_obd.pdf
"P1317 ABS - rough road signal line permanently at ground or open circuit (P1318 ABS - rough road signal line permanently at 12V) The ABS or rough road detection control module uses all four wheel speed signals to determine if the vehicle is on a surface liable to give false indication of misfire. This is signaled to the ECM, which disables misfire detection under these conditions. The diagnostic checks the integrity of the link by confirming the line switches high / low."
I had pulled the ABS fuses awhile ago after I experienced the low speed "brake pedal buzz with no brakes" syndrom, and I am wondering if pulling the fuses causes the P1317 to show up now or if there is something else I need to check. I am not clear on what "checks the integrity of the link by confirming the line switches high / low." means. Does this mean it is looking for the upper and lower limits of a wave form signal from the ABS sensors at all wheels or is there some other switch in the system?
BTW, having P1317 pending or set does not prevent the setting of Bank B misfire code P1314.

I found a post in the archives that said "Put the ABS fuse back in the fuse box under the dash and pull the 30A ABS pump fuse from under the hood...That one MUST be in place or you will continue to get ABS codes." I had pulled both so I put the 5 amp fuse back in the satelite fuse box under the dash. I'll see if that eliminates the P1317 and report back.

I did get the usual P1314 set and also P0430 pending which I had not had before.
P1314 is “Misfire Catalyst Damage Fault Bank B” (passenger side) and P0430 is “Catalyst Efficiency Low Fault Bank B” (passenger side).
Still have to find the cause of the P1314 and P1313 codes.

I think you need to dive into the "advanced" evap system.....my 98 seemed to run fine, but kept getting those same codes for misfires....the madness only stopped when I disconnected / bypassed the evap b/s . after unhooking the hose that goes from the intake manifold to the purge valve, and blocking the now empty port on the manifold....Icould go 5000 miles or so before a cel came on for the purge valve .
Also in a possibly related matter, myself and a few others here have had the pressure sensor in the fuel tank short out and take the TPS, and IACV programming out with it cuz they are all wired together......If I were ever to get another advanced evap truck, I would go ugly early and unhook that sob of a tank sensor....the damage that thing can do is phenominal ! Also, if you have a good independent shop near you , maybe they could check/ reprogram the ECU to eliminate that as a potential issue.......that also seems to plague the advanced evap vehicles
