Default Pics of MEANDEROVER

Here's a few new pics:
Land Rover Forums - Land Rover Enthusiast Forum - Danny Lee 97 Disco's Album: MEANDEROVER

Here's a view of new grill, and my new custom console crafted from an original 1940's era Wooden Cutty Sark Whiskey case.

That is Skylar behind the wheel.

It is a standard size whiskey case. Held 12 Fifths of Cutty Sark.

When was the last time you saw a wooden whiskey case. I liked the way the lettering was intact and very legible. I put a divider in the center, mounted the padded top (rotated 90 degrees) of the original console on the front half with the seat switches mounted under the top.

The window switches are mounted thru the front in that slot I cut for the Parking Brake handle which is fully functional.

The top part of the rear half is made from an Apple Crate from 1936. The kids all wrote their names on it. It hinges toward the front so they have a stash box.

It fits right over the pyrotechnics for the airbag, adjusted the height for arm support for the driver. I coated it with some clear sealer, other than that it was all original aged wood. It is about 70 years old and I liked the references to HM the Queen and the royal seal.

Seemed appropriate for a Land Rover.
