Realistically the cats might make 120k, the OEM's did have a way of "chunking" which would clatter in the can.

The entire exhaust system from the manifolds back has only 25k miles on them.

from the "what have you done lately" thread....

Pulled every evap line and filler neck out of the truck from the engine bay back to find a leak. Found it at the filler neck. This leak caused me to have rough idle and bad short and long term fuel trims.

One thing I would like to add if you have not looked at your lines back there you need too. The rubber vent hose and filler hose will be cracked and soon start leaking and cause air to enter you system and cause rough idle and cut down on your MPG's.
Given the pressurization in your tank I'd take a look at this.

Thanks for the heads up. Man what a pain to get back there just to look though - have to drop the tank!

If it was a Ferrari you wouldn't think twice about doing it...... I'm just as guilty, my current project I have to do the same thing because I smell fuel vapors when it's parked in the garage...... and I have to R&R the entire rear suspension with new and break out the welder so in goes a new fuel pump/strainer and all hoses while it's out. My summer is gone already and I haven't even bought the Callaway P38 yet. That's another project........ trans and BeCM rework.

Of course you're right. And I'll add it to the list. I think I'll test the injectors first though - a bit easier. Far as I understand it I don't need any gaskets, correct? Just disconnect some hoses, etc, then remove the plenum and can then access the injectors?

Gaskets are not needed. The rest is just easy work.

So I pulled almost 12 mpg on a round trip this weekend, except I was hauling a motorcycle and trailer.

My LTFT started at 2.3. Dropped to 1.6 and then dropped to 0.8. It was still at 0.8 this morning.

No clue at this point. No clue. I'm kinda happy with 12 mpg pulling a trailer, though that's not all that great it's what I pull normally without a trailer.

I pulled my plenum off to change out the screens on my injectors. The plenum had gray permatex on it, do i need to re-apply permatex when i reassemble?

It's a judgement call, there isn't a gasket for it and it is a machined lip and lid so it's up to you. It won't harm anything if you do apply RTV just do so sparingly.
