Power Steering Pump breakdown
So after putting everything back together at the end of the HG job I couldn't remember how to correctly assemble the powersteering pump internals. The pump has a downward facing connection for the high pressure line. Inside that connection is a spring and a valve about 2 inches long. Does anyone know the order that these should be inserted and which way the valve needs to be flipped. I currently have 0 power steering which sucks, my arms are very tired! Below is the breakdown I got from the LR dealer. I believe the connection point I am referring to is between numbers 1 and 2 on the picture below.
