Default Power steering question

Been having rough time with my power steering pump at idle not wanting to turn the wheels. Then the other day it started clicking so I will be installing a new one in the morning. I plan on doing a system flush. Is there anything extra I need to do like run an in-line filter?

The reservoir has a built-in filter, so you might want to replace it (the reservoir).

I did not know that but I did get a new one and new lines. That’s good to know. Thank you!
