how did you mount a chevy charcoal canister? wish I knew that fit when I blew mine up would have saved me some $

That looks to be a stock LR charcoal canister to me. The pre-AEL trucks had round ones. AEL trucks(mid 97-99) had the rectangular ones.

ok that's why 
so does this purge valve work on the AEL ones? got a pick of this added to an ael vehicle? mine has a hose straight in the front then it has one going out the bottom to the cannister
