Default Question about PCV mod

Best, I wonder have you considered adding an oil catch container?

Never thought about it, but there is plenty of space to add one. I've had great luck with adding a PCV to a D2 so I just came up with the D1 mod of the same design/idea.

I am wondering if the little bit of oil that gets into the intake is bad, or maybe it is actually beneficial to the engine. There are drain holes bored into the trumpet bases after all.

A little bit of oil is normal, the main reason for the PCV vs the baffle is a serviceable item you can easily check/service vs the baffle which crumbles and easily can clog causing unwanted crankcase pressure and then the valve covers are usually the first to go.
