The nissens is good I used it for a while with no issues. It's a good all metal copper/brass core radiator. Im selling it, but if you're not in southern california it would probably be cost prohibitive to ship. Otherwise you can get them on rockauto for about $330 and use a 5% coupon.

The Nissens radiator is straight bolt on it, its been mentioned on this forum as a solid replacement for years.

Stock radiator, have a shop go through it and re-core if needed. Would be cheaper than a new rad.

Nissens have too much plastic, IMO.

They may have changed recently, but the nissens radiator I have for the discovery 1 is all metal.

Interesting, I've only seen the plastic ones for the past 2 years.
All metal wouldn't be that bad.
Still cheaper to have the OEM gone through if you have a reputable shop nearby.
I think it cost me somewhere in the 100-150 range.

I replaced my radiator 1.5 years ago with the Nissens from RockAuto. It's aluminum with the plastic tanks, but it's been through multiple zero or sub-zero degree temps in that time and I've had no issues.

In Denver I had 2 shops quote $450+ to redo the stock radiator, so I went the Nissens route.

Guess the value on mine went up! Not a fan of aluminum/plastic radiators at all. Only removed my nissens because I installed an oem radiator.

Atlantic British used to sell an all metal unit for like 600.00. The plastic tank/aluminum units aren't bad, but they aren't anything like their OEM cousins!

But whatever you do DO NOT get a Chinese Aluminum Radiator from Ebay or any other place. Only stick with Allisport stuff!!! I nearly just killed my 4spd Auto due to the cheap POS Chinese Radiator failing on it's first road trip. Things worked out and I was back on the road in 3hr with a replacement radiator, and lower transmission line, but it could have really really really have been bad.
