discovery 1 1998 . can someone please advise on how to remove the plastic cover that covers the exterior door handle ,have removed the internal 10mm nuts but there appears to be something still holding it to the door panel,cheers john

 

Those never go bad, what are you trying to do?
If it wont open the door from the outside pop off the Land Rover emblem and lube the latch/handle.

Otherwise I think you have to wiggle and lift it up.

 

i need to remove the old outer door latch and the only way i can see to do that is to remove the outer cover which houses the nunber plate light and the door latch,ihave removed the inner nuts but something is still holding the top section of the cover but i can;t see what it is john
