Default Was rearended yesterday.

Coming to a stop doing about 15-20 or so. Fella behind me did not. His car, late model Nissan Versa, was fubar. He went right under the hitch. Wish I would of gotten a picture.

I did notice that the hazards came on and wouldn't go off until I turned the ignition off and back on.

Wow that SUCKS! I'm shocked at the amount of damage (all things considers I know it's minimal) to the Disco from a POS Versa.
Just a heads-up, be sure to either you or the collision shop inspect the fuel tank really well. I had this type of accident with a RRC and the fuel tank skid plate split the plastic tank. It was a real PITA because the fuel tank only showed the leak when the skid plate was removed.

Hazards may have been inertia switch. Doing what it's supposed to be doing.

OverRover, Thanks for the tip.
Shiftonthefly1, Gotcha. Read chassis manual and found there is an inertia switch in the alarm ecu. Engine never cut off. Was knocked into a muddy ditch and kept going for about 50 yards and got myself out. I hate mud.
ihscouts, No, surprisingly it didn't.

Aye, 'twas quite fortuitous that I removed the plank from my derriere prior to getting plowed from behind. The resulting circumstance would of been quite ghastly. The ramifications of what did transpire, from being run-through astern, was a trip through a heinous, noxious, befouled furrow most dank.
The likes of which I wish never to have my path darkened with again.

My complexion is quite clear, thank you very much.
