Default A rectangular temp gauge

Hi, guys I'm looking for a rectangular temperature coolant gauge(digital) , so I can find a nice place for it on the Disco. Since I got the radiator recored and some other misc bits, the temp gauge is smack in the middle right now.

I've been running this Fourby temperature gauge which replaces the standard clock. It also has a time display setting so you can still toggle to the time if you like.

Ran the sensor to an adaptor in the upper radiator hose, something like this:

.

It's been working great.

Based on a previous post you made - I think you have a 3.9 14CUX system? If so I would highly recommend you consider a RoverGauge or RS-RV8 to monitor all kinds of stuff including a direct reading of engine temp from the ECU. The RS-RV8 can be loaded on an android phone. The Roverguage on a small windows tablet. Can get those used for cheap on ebay and just have a dedicated monitor.

The problem with the fourby is it reads in celsius. Otherwise very cool.

I have the Ultra Gauge in my 98 D1 - works great. Link below.

RS-RV8 is no longer on the Play store, so you have to get it from a mirror site. I have used this one as recently as last month: https://m.apkpure.com/rs-rv8/com.rs_rv8
One of these days I'll get around to posting a how-to on RoverGauge and RS-RV8 on this forum. It's the only reasonably priced ECU monitoring option for us pre-OBD2 folks.
