Default Remove srs, air bags?

Is there an option or way to remove the srs and airbags... I hate the though od a couple of old explosives staring me in the face.

I have the dash out and of course the steering wheel off. Does anyone sell a center for the steering wheel that doesn't have the air bag? Or a custom steering wheel?

The original is riveted in, plus has those anti temper bolts... Still uneasy about screwing with it to much.

Unplug them.
You could buy a Range Rover Classic steering wheel.

Why not have them? In the case of an emergency they may or may not work. I'd rather have the chance of them working especially if you fly 30 ft in the air like I did and land nose first..

You can get a steering wheel from a non NAS disco, and grab handle to replace the passenger side.

SRS was blinking before I took the dash out. Not going to spend the cash to fix. besides, I just don't see why you would want that in you face if your out wheeling in the truck and where to hit a tree, or catch the front on a large rut etc...

Someone must make a dummy center part as my wheel is in perfect condition...

Like Spike says, unplug it. Without power it can't do much. They sit for years on the shelf or in the junk yard. But ... young partz vulturz do find twisted fun with them.. see - warning foul language Airbag test - YouTube

For fun, I once was almost the victim of the "air bag launch.' My friends stuck it under a couch and after a hard night of partying we were fighting over who got the beds, couch, and floor. Let's just say I had a female friend so I didn't get the couch. My other unfortunate friend flew up and landed on his face it was pretty funny.
