THE GRILL IS REMOVED BY TAKING OUT THREE SCREWS WITH THE HOOD RAISED. I do not think that is in the rave. The plastic cover would not be either. A few bolts hold it on.

1) open your hood
2) there are 3 screws on top near the condensor fans that need to be removed (basically near your crotch when you open the hood)
3) pop off one of your turn signal assemblies and unhook it
4) if you look carefully there is a screw and nut that needs to be removed so that you can slide off the "under-headlight-cover-thing"
5) remove that by sliding it out, beware of the plastic point keeping it in place, then remove the plastic grill by sliding it out also

TADA!

hope i didn't miss anything

side amrkers have to come out because the headlight finishers slide into the bottom center of the grille and i think to get the headlight finishers off the markers need to get popped out. It's pretty straight forward.

Caleb, did you ever get your grille sorted?

Yeah I bought a new one and I have the old one to fiddle with. I bought the 6in x 3 ft piece of mesh for about $10 and I have it now. I just haven't attempted to install in on the old grill yet. Rocking stock grill at the moment haha plus I cant decide if I want to paint it or leave it metal.

He's got a nice grill I sent it to him. But also, I managed to find out the finisher bolts don't come off without a fight. I just ended up bending them enough to be able and pull the grill out. The bolts are rusted into place on mine.
