Remove the top of the fan shroud.
Loosen the idler tension by turning the pivot bolt clockwise.
Remove old belt.
Release tension on the idler.
Install new belt on all pulleys except the idler.
Rotate the idler pivot again and slip the belt over the pulley.
Release tension on the tensioner.
Check to make sure the belt is square on all the pulleys.

It helps if you have a second person to assist. If you have a second person, it helps for one to get underneath and help feed the new belt into place on the lower pulley as the other person slips it into place from the top. That makes it a lot simpler, especially if you have never done it before.
And like they said, ensure proper routing or you won't be turning the alternator enough to keep the battery charged up. It's pretty simple, only one bolt to loosen, and it's just a quater turn or something like that. You don't even remove it, just release the belt tension. When the new belt is in place, you pivot the bolt back to it's original position to reapply belt tension. Your new belt may appear to be smaller, especially if the old one has stretched. Mine was stretched and severely cracked when I replaced it.
