You DON'T have to drain the oil to replace the oil cooler lines. REMOVE the oil filter so you can reach the nut in the pic ( red arrow ).
REMEMBER to support the adaptors at the radiator when you loosen the line nuts. It's a PITA when they spin. ALSO, check that the NEW lines have O RINGS ( there are 5 total see pic). Put a little engine oil on the o rings before you install them. Once the lines and oil filter are reinstalled, check your oil level and you're back to HAPPY TOWN!

I agree if it's not a terrible leak I'd wait until next oil change. I'm in the same boat and I'm waitin. But my leak is GENERALLY very slow.
Not to jack the thread but would anyone know if an oil cooler hose leak could cause the oil pump to lose prime? Trying to settle a bet.

laying down trying to get leverage on the nuts to loosen and tighten them, while trying to work around all the other stuff down there ain't really fun.
On a lift it would be a lot easier.

update, just changed the hoses and thanks overrover for the pics, they helped and yes it is a messy job when crawling under to do it!paid careful attention to not spinning the adapters by using a crescent wrench to hold them tight while unscrewing nut.took me about 1 1/2 hrs so probably saved a decent amount of money! now i'll keep checking for leaks but i think i'm ok.i was concerned that the hose bto right of filter was a little longer and didn't screw in all the way but no leaks and i'll check with where i bought them just to make sure! i'm sure the oil light would come on if not installed right and it did go out right away so...
