Replacing the swivel tomorrow, pointers or short cuts?
Got my used swivel assembly in the mail the other day and a seal kit. Any hints or short cuts on what I'm doing? I'm going to follow this write up

Pretty straight forward write up. Only diff's I did was: After the wheel is off, I removed the mud shield 1st thing. Easy, one 19mm nut(on the steer stops) and a 10mm nut-n-bolt at the bottom and it swings off. Then using a 17mm box wrench, I took the upper swivel pin bolts off, allowing the brake caliper to be removed with the brake pipe still attatched( no brake bleeding later on). Also, if you are not replacing the lower swivel pin, it does not have to be removed, at all. Once everything is taken off down to the bare spindle, with the upper swivel pin removed, the spindle will drop down and lean the top outwards(towards yourself) and it will finish coming off without touching the lower swivel pin.
I was able to replace the lower bearing race myself, but had to have the upper swivel bushing pressed out then new one in.
Plan on spending as much time cleaning everything as it did to get it apart.
