does any one have any info on fabbing a set of rock sliders?
i.e. material list , specs, so on and so forth?

2x2 square stock, 2x2 angle iron, 1x2 square stock, and some 3/16 plate. You can keep them simple or get fancy. Mine are about as simple as they can get but they are stout.

I would love those . I was actually wanting to modify them to have tree protectors on them , to double as a step.
Noe if i could get accurate and detailed drawings for a killer roof rack that i can make and use factory attachments i would love that.

Angle iron bolts to the rocker panels where the stock plastic piece is. Then the support bars are mounted to the frame.

 

Building your own, the one thing you have to keep in mind is that the bottom of the rocker isn't straight, there's a slight curvature in the doors so if you use straight box tube, you'll have a bigger gap at one end and a itty bitty one on the other end.

 

There are actually 2 bends that need to be made, one pushing the box steel down from the middle the other bending from the middle to the outer side that way you can match both lines and look like factory. I did mine with a 12 ton jack and 2 chains.
